Slavery exists in our own backyards

It is estimated that hundreds of thousands of people in the United States are sexually exploited each year. Worldwide, 26% of victims are children.* These statistics are sobering, but they are not the end of the story. Passionate people like you are rewriting the ending.

With your help, we envision a Puget Sound region where people are safe from sexual exploitation and experiencing abundant life through the united service of the church. Read on to learn more about how we do this and how you can get involved and make a difference!

Our approach to ending it

Since 2015 our volunteer-led team has focused on spreading awareness of human trafficking through the sales of bridal and formal gowns as well as being engaged in a multitude of community events, presentations, & teas to educate the public. In 2018 we opened a brand new bridal shop location in Lakewood, WA to help continue our anti-trafficking work. We give survivors an opportunity to heal from trauma and people opportunities to fight exploitation in the areas of AWARENESS, PREVENTION, and RESTORATION through what we call our GRACE plan:

Gospel

Our work with all people is Christ-centered. We offer Bible Studies and facilitate Mending the Soul groups for all who are interested.

Resources

We are connected to many local organizations who help provide wraparound care for those we serve. If you are a school, church, or community group that is interested in going through a free Power Over Predators introduction with us, please email us here! This program teaches students, parents & educators recognize and protect themselves from exploitation and other threats.

Activities

We work toward healing with those we serve through a variety of ways. This allows many people with many different talents to get involved and make a difference! Some of our activities include art, music, dance, drama, hiking, and more!

Connecting

The Church and community can play a meaningful role in caring for those who have experiences trauma and exploitation. We pull together the skills and talents of many different people representing various walks of life, churches, and sectors of the community. We can do more together than we could apart!

Education & Employment

We provide mentoring in addition to job and life skills classes, and create a safe place for survivors to heal from the past. Through our partnership with Solutions Dental we are also able provide scholarships for survivors to participate in a dental assisting program. We also educate the public to the reality of human trafficking and equip them with tools to become advocates.

Get Involved!

Do you or someone you know need help? We offer all types of classes and groups through our Ministry at the “Grace Space.” This is a safe and friendly environment where survivors or anyone in need can come and seek help. We also offer groups and classes such as painting, cooking and bible studies that anyone can join.
